The Gerber MP650 Evolution
The Multi-Plier® 650 Evolution
is a completely new multi-function tool manufactured by
Gerber Legendary Blades. A true breakthrough in plier/knife
multi-tool development, the Multi-Plier® 650 is the only
tool with interchangeable plier heads and all locking components.
The Multi-Plier® 650 Evolution has the versatility of interchangeable
plier heads. Currently available are needlenose, bluntnose
pliers. Soon fishing needlenose with carbide wire cutter
inserts, and dedicated cable cutter plier heads will also
be available. These plier heads are easily changed to best
fit the given situation. Simply press two buttons and slide
the plier head from the handles. Jaws are easily reinstalled
by simply pushing them into the closed handles.
The standard tool (08257) comes in a pouch that can hold
1 x set of spare jaws. The 8257 has standard "NEEDLENOSE
JAWS"
The combo tool (08483) comes with "NEEDLENOSE JAWS"
and "WIRE CUTTERS". The wire cutters are stored
in a small front pouch of the main pouch
Evolution also has Gerber's patented saw coupler that uses
2 3/4" universal tang jig saw blades. This allows the user
to change blades for different materials, as well as replacing
the blades when they become dull. A premium RemGrit® blade
is included. Evolution also has a pair of Fiskars® Scissors,
the best scissors found in a multi-function tool. These
scissors cut through ballistic cloth, leather, hemmed denim,
and all braided fishing lines.
All of the tools in the Multi-Plier® Evolution lock into
place for safety and convenience. These include; saw blade,
scissors, medium and small screwdrivers, Phillips™ screwdriver,
half serrated drop point knife blade, bottle opener, can
opener, and a Simonds® fine and coarse file.
Other features that make Multi-Pliers® the best combination
tools include; true independent tool rotation -- allowing
the user to access one component at at time, and a lockback
safety bar -- making Multi-Plier® the safest tool on the
market.
The Gerber Multi-Plier® 650 is made of 100% stainless steel,
and is backed by Gerber's Limited Lifetime Warranty (tools
and handles only). Plier jaws are covered by a One Year
Limited Warranty.
