What do we think of the Gerber Octane? We think this is one of Gerber BEST new multi tools. It has everything a small to medium sized pocket tool should have. It's SLIM and fits in a trouser pocket with ease (utilising the handy pocket clip). With the main knife blade "OUTBOARD" and ready for immediate use, it is better than many other "retracting jaw" type multitools which require plier jaws out - BEFORE you can access the knife. We give this Gerber Octane a very strong 9/10.
